"This is the coolest gadget I have owned in a long time. I love this tool and would recommend it to homeowners."
With its impressive IR resolution, wide-angle lens, and excellent temperature range, it offers outstanding performance across various applications. Whether you're a professional or an enthusiast, this thermal camera provides a wealth of information and insights. I highly recommend the HIKMICRO to anyone seeking a reliable and versatile thermal imaging solution for their Android and Apple devices. —— From a HIKMICRO Eco User
HIKMICRO presents new compact thermal cameras Eco & Eco-V
Meanwhile, thermal imaging cameras have become indispensable tools not only in industrial maintenance and in the construction sector. HIKMICRO has therefore developed the Eco handheld thermal imaging camera specifically for inspections in the home. The Eco series consists of the Eco and Eco-V models and is surprisingly affordable for its performance specifications. With its thermal resolution of 96 x 96 (9,216) pixels, it enables quick troubleshooting on-site. Thanks to the SuperIR function, the resolution can even be extended to 240 x 240 (57,600) pixels. This, combined with a comparatively high refresh rate of 25 Hz, always ensures a clear, jerk-free image (as opposed to the 9 Hz often found in simple thermal imaging cameras, which makes inspections more tedious and much more strenuous).
The camera allows precise temperature measurement in full-screen mode and stores radiometric thermal images. Maximum and minimum values can be automatically tracked as well as average values to immediately detect temperature anomalies. The Eco accurately measures temperatures from -20 °C to 550 °C with an accuracy of up to +/-2 °C or +/-2 % of reading.
Improved thermal imaging thanks to SuperIR
HIKMICRO's image enhancement technology "SuperIR" enables the upscaling of thermal images from 96 x 96 (9,216 pixels) to 240 x 240 (57,600 pixels) in live view at the fast frame rate of 25 Hz. The stored thermal images then also have a higher resolution of 240 x 240 pixels. With the Eco's 50° wide-angle lens, even larger areas can be scanned quickly to find problems such as air leaks, water leaks, and insulation issues.
Robust and long battery life
The camera features a laser pointer and 4GB flash memory for up to 30,000 thermal images, as well as central spot, hot spot and cold spot measurement presets. Users can select the ideal colour scale for their work from the seven colour palettes White Hot, Black Hot, Rainbow, Ironbow, Redhot, Fusion as well as Above Alarm. Thanks to its IP54 certification, the Eco Series is tough and durable, passes rigorous drop tests from up to 2 metres and comes with a three-year warranty. Its built-in 3350 mAh Li-ion battery allows for up to 8 hours of continuous use thanks to a thoughtful automatic shut-off function (5/10/20 minutes).
Thermal imaging camera Eco-V with additional visual lens
In addition to the infrared lens, the Eco-V camera version also has a visual camera with a resolution of 640 × 480, thanks to which fusion of thermal images are also possible, combining thermal image and real image. "Fusion" adds important details from the visual camera to the thermal image, providing additional detail and clarity. Users can switch between the three image modes (thermal image, visible image and fusion) at any time. Simultaneous storage of visual images and thermal images with just a single click enables efficient work and fast inspection reports.
